Learning unit contents

The course includes a series of lectures by scientists on current issues related to surface processes and global changes (anthropogenic impacts). Scientists will give talks in direct connexion with their research

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The students will thus gain an overview of research outside the geography department, related to issues connecting surface processes and global changes.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Active learning pedagogy will be implemented. After each lecture, students will revisit the issues discussed during the lecture using the scientists' publications and will give a graded presentation.
