Learning unit contents

This course aims to equip students with the fundamentals in defining, designing, and planning a research project in order to develop their final thesis. It also offers guidelines for the various stages of the research process to help the student in writing their thesis.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this course you will be able to:

  • structure and plan your master thesis project
  • formulate a clear research question
  • draft a convincing literature review
  • make informed theoretical and methodological choices
  • develop your critical thinking
  • make explicit and justify your choices
  • strengthen your writing and presentation capacity
