Learning unit contents

Structure of scientific research. Bibliographic research. Presentation of analysis results. Elements of statistical analysis. Sampling.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Students will master the techniques and concepts for structuring their scientific research, formulating objectives and hypotheses, using scientific literature and presenting the results of their research. Students will also be introduced to scientific data analysis (elements of statistical analysis, sampling, etc.).

Discussion and evaluation of students' presentation of TFE methods (50%). Criteria: relevance, coherence, justifications, etc. Discussion of the analysis of a scientific article in the oral exam (structure, methods, relevance of approaches, justifications, presentation of results, relevance and structure of the discussion, quality of the bibliographical list, etc.) (50%).
