Introductory course in environmental and health risks, based on theory, invited seminars and case studies.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Environmental and health risks threaten our societies: an introduction to what they cost, who are the actors and who are the main victims, what are the major trends to come and how their effects can be anticipated, or even reduced
At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to:
- Identification of the environmental and health issues of a situation or territory
- Taking into account the political nature of positions in relation to the environment
- Multi-scalar approach to environmental issues
- Criticism and development of an environmental argument
- Formulation of recommendations
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
The course is given in French.

Theoretical presentation, case studies, feedback, and - when appropriate - socio-cultural events.
