Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Introduction to basic political economic reasoning and to economic issues analysis

After completing the course the student is expected to:

  • Master the theoretical foundations of micro- and macroeconomics
  • Interpret correctly a microeconomic statement and solve microeconomic problems
  • Analyse national accounts and GNP data
  • Understand the levers of economic policy, including the monetary and budgetary dimensions
