Learning unit contents

The course is divided into 3 parts. The first deals with the principles contained in the General Agreements of the World Trade Organisation. The second deals with international investments. the third with the trade in commodities.

The course is based on the analysis of judicial decisiosn. An important preparation work is therefore required from the students.

The purpose of the course is to teach the principles applied in international trade.

Students must have followed a course of International public law

The course is based on a Powerpoint presentation and on the analysis of judicial decisions, all available for the students.

Students will receive the statement of facts of a claim to the WTO. They will have to write the claim, the means of defence and the decison of the panel.
