The teaching covers the theoretical notions and the practical-technological tools that it is important to known in order to apprehend the study of the ecology of fisheries resources in continental waters, at the scale of the individual and the population. The topics covered are 1) techniques for monitoring and tagging fish in the natural environment and the possibilities of practical application 2) the methods for capturing and estimating populations 3) th biology and ecology of fish in continental waters 4) the use of biometric data's, the concepts of fish population dynamics.

A day in the field is planned to put into practice the theoretical references covered during the theoretical teaching.
