Learning unit contents

Improvement of Japanese language skill (grammar) and enrichment of communication level (oral expression, discussion). Student is expected to have a personal point of view on Japanese culture and to be able to discuss with other students in Japanese (preferable) or in French.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

This course helps students to improve their Japanese language communication skills. It offers students opportunities to express spontaneously their opinions in Japanese, and to discuss about issues and topics suggested by the Professor.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Intermediate level reqired as regards grammatical skill and writing ability. Students should be able to express themselves easily and understand others' conversations. At least a 2-year learning level.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

A visit of the Japanese Book collection in Université catholique de Louvain is planned to complete learning activities.
