Learning unit contents
After adressing the issue of anthropologists' positionality towards development, we will present the main tools that they propose to analyse development policies. We will then use these tools to study new themes in the anthropology of development.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of the course is to give students tools to develop an anthropological approach to development policies. At the end of the course, they must be able to use these tools for analyzing these policies and their consequences.

To have some background in the social sciences, and the desire to think critically about development.
