Learning unit contents

The purpose of this course is to give a basic understanding to the student on the fundamental concepts implemented in the majority of current electronic data management tools. The practical work will encourage the student to a scientific thinking towards the construction of a dynamic database.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Understand the logic of databases.

Interact with a database through the R programming language.

Understand methods for data verification.

Understand the standards of clinical data acquisition.

Communicate problems formally.
