Learning unit contents
This seminar is intended as a space for exchanges with practitioners specializing in French as a second language / education.
It is articulated in the theoretical course of "Didactics of French as a second language in a migratory context" and addresses specific didactic questions raised on a daily basis by the teaching of French as a second language and schooling, in particular:
- teaching reading to FSL learners and illiterate newcomer pupils;
- lexical enrichment;
- writing workshops;
- the development of educational kits;
- plurilingual approaches;
- linguistic interference;
- the competency frameworks for FLS / FLSco;
- theater and slam in the classroom.

- test theoretical knowledge by confronting it with more empirical thinking,
- deepen specific didactic questions,
- develop a reflexive and critical posture.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
This course is given in the form of a seminar in which the students are expected to participate actively. Practical exercises and case studies are frequently used, and outside specialists are often invited to speak.
