Learning unit contents
The internship provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills in microbiology in a clinical microbiology department, including National reference centres for Streptococcus agalactiae, Vibrio cholerae and mycosis.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end of the internship, the student will be able to
- participate to a research program
- master the topic and used methods
- analyze biological material
- integrate well in a team
- extract selected data from medical files and analyze them in an epidemiological context
- comment and discuss the obtained results
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Interest in microbiology.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
- 3-month intership
- Briefing and work sessions about the chosen theme of the research.
Recommended or required readings
Selected according to the chosen theme of the research.
- Detailed written report of the internship, according to specifications of the vade mecum.
- Public defense of this report.
- Internship master's assessment
