Study of the vocabulary and the main chapters of Dutch grammar through reading, writing, speaking and listening activities.
Topics: news and history of Belgium, Flanders and the Netherlands.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This advanced level is part of the continuation of the bachelor's degree program. The final objective is written and oral practice of everyday Dutch.
The third part focuses on listening comprehension and speaking.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills
A basic knowledge of oral and written Dutch is required (see description 1st year + 2nd year + 3rd year part I).

Written and oral examination at the end of the year.
The written exam consists of a report based on a video document. In addition, the student is tested on the second part of the basic vocabulary and structures (verbs and adverbs)
The oral exam consists of the presentation of a personal reading file, the total text of which (one or more articles from the Dutch-speaking press) consists of at least 15 columns (A4 format print media). Date of writing: current academic year. A copy of this file must be submitted to the professor by the end of April at the latest.

Course participation is compulsory. Attendance will be recorded. An immediate update is essential in case of absence.
