Schedule
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite
Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program
Learning unit contents
- Acquisition of a knowledge base:
The basics of the quality spirit will be acquired through the theoretical presentation of the key concepts and principles of Quality Infrastructure (QI) and their practical applications in the professional and socio-economic contexts of the bioengineer: teaching, companies, laboratories, design office, etc. ...
These bases will be acquired by following ex-cathedra courses as well as by seminars from external speakers providing their testimony of the importance of quality infrastructure and quality management in the professional world and more particularly in businesses. These speakers will come from various backgrounds (agri-food, forestry, pharmacy, environment). - Practical exercise during classes
In order to become familiar with the audit approach and the mapping of processes within companies, practical exercises will be carried out during certain courses. These exercises also prepare you for the practical part of the written exam.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- The course will allow all students to be trained in the Quality Mindset and to acquire theoretical and practical bases of quality infrastructure and quality management thanks, on the one hand, to the acquisition of a knowledge base and, on the other hand, the development of transversal skills.
- An evaluation will attest to the assimilation of the basic notions of quality infrastructure and quality systems.
- These notions will serve as a basis for skills trajectories related to the control of safety, quality and environmental systems in the production chain of products and services in different fields of bioengineering and the implementation of operational standards and technical regulations.
