Learning unit contents

Theoretical course
The notions approached at the time of this course complete those which have been developed at the previous partim (BSM 3). It consists in seminars focusing on specific aspects dealing with the managment of sport and recreational activities (subsidies of the Federation Wallonie - Brussels fundamentals of accountancy, employment in the sport domain,...). Stress tests related to management themes are proposed during the classes.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Theoretical course


  • To acquire a systematic approach in analysing sport organisations.
  • To develop competences in communication.
  • To improve knowledge on practical sport management.
  • To be able to imagine a technical project aiming to create/manage a sport organisation

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Concepts approached during part I are necessary. Experiences of the practical activities (professionnal applications) are also useful.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The role-playing exercises should allow students to mobilize their resources to apply them to real cases of APS management. Experts are also invited to stimulate and diversify student exchanges and learning.
