Learning unit contents
The course is held every odd year (2023-2024, 205-2026, ...). This course can be usefully supplemented with the course on consumer credit.
The course focuses on mortgage and professional and consumer credit contracts. The different types of mortgage credits are examined in the first part of the course. Mortgage credit regulation, especially Book VII of the Code of economic law and transposition of the Directive 2014/17/EU, is analyzed. References are made to the law of obligations, in particular to the concepts of loan, credit, etc. Mortgage itself is the subject of the second part of the course.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Students must be able to distinguish the different types of credit mortgages and to analyse contractual terms.
