- Implement a dynamic of professional cooperation including the patient and his entourage
- Master the basic concepts of communication and their impact on communication processes
- Apply communication methods and tools appropriate to different situations and audiences
- Define the communication process
- Explain the place of communication in relation to human factors and Crisis Resource Management
- Explain the role of communication in teamwork and leadership
- Apply specific strategies for dealing with difficult communications
- Develop assertiveness (speaking-up) in crisis situations
- Identify the roles of verbal and non-verbal language
- Understand the emotional and relational implications of all communication
