Learning unit contents
The class deals with contemporary experimental film : it focuses mainly on found footage (Bill Morrison, Austrian avant-garde, etc.) and on hand-painted films (Norman McLaren, Stan Brakhage, etc.)

The aim of the class is to introduce the students to some of the major movements in contemporary experimental film.
