Learning unit contents
The course describes the basis of cell function regulations (apoptosis, proliferation, differentiation, transcriptional activity) by presenting the different signaling pathways. The topics are:
- main signaling pathways
- the apoptotic process
- the extracellular matrix and intracellular signaling
- cell migration and invasion
- cell regulation by siRNA and miRNA
- signaling pathways an DNA repair
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
At the end, the student will know the main signaling pathways and how they contribute to the regulation of cell functions in physiological and pathological conditions.
